power of the word 'yes'

I'm at a restaurant on the top of the mountain... this was a trip we took to Keystone last week with some special operations guys... man I love my job. Anyways, someone let it slip i wear jump wings... I get a tap on the shoulder, and one of the combat guys says hey, you a skydiver? Well that's what I heard at least... I say yeah sure I jump. Well the spaghetti of misunderstandings that ensued... fast forward to last night, at the air force special ops annual dinner. just about every hero who isn't in the war right now is at this thing... these guys are awesome, i'm humbled to be in the same room with them... i get introduced to one of the most decorated guys in there, and now the story is i am some insane HALO master with a billion jumps... hahaha. it's a good thing i don't get embarrassed too much. We had a good laugh at that one... all from saying the word yes a week ago. who knows, maybe I'll get to cross-train and be able to share the high skies with those guys someday...
